What is so great about Sharm El Sheikh and why would you want to go on holiday here? Sharm El Shiekh has been a massive contender for the number 1 holiday spot, especially for luxury holidays, but why is it doing so well?

Here are some of the most important factors about Sharm El Sheikh that make it so attractive to tourists. The first is the diving aspect of this location. There is probably one spot in the world that most divers would agree is the best diving location on the planet, and that would be off the coast in Sharm. The first is that there are an unbelievable amount of Coral reefs in the immediate area, just off the coast in the Red Sea, somewhere actually in the region of about 250! These coral reefs are some of the easiest for divers to access in the world. The next big reason that divers believe this to be such a great place to go diving is that it is home to around 1000 different species of fish. This makes it a great place for people to view all kinds of different varieties of fish.

All of these diving goodies have brought another form of tourism to the coasts of Sharm El Sheikh; this is called “scientific tourism”. This form of holidaying is for those that like to take notes on new species or collate information on something they have a passion for. These holidays are very popular with travel agents, mainly because the length of someones stay greatly increases.

The weather helps to bring in Tourists to this place. Egypt is very warm and dry, making it a great place for sunning. If you don’t like the rain, then this is the place for you, even the rain is warm, what rain there is anyway. This destination can get very hot as well, perfect for those that love hot and sweaty weather.

Sharm El Sheikh holidays are great, they are even more popular than Caribbean holidays and Maldives holidays combined! St Lucia holidays and Barbados holidays will have to step up their game!

On my last holiday I travelled to Antigua. This really is a very nice place. Ok to be completely honest it wasn’t my first choice; in fact I really wanted to travel to the Maldives. I fancied going Whale Shark diving, but the hotels I wanted to stay at were all booked up so I decided on my second choice – Antigua.

I was very happy with what I found, Antigua was gorgeous. In fact the hotel I was staying in just topped it off for me. It was phenomenally amazing. I was staying in the Hermitage Bay Hotel, a five star boutique hotel. I needed to find out where my room was, and to my surprise my room was fantastic. I had some snorkelling planned and a bit of windsurfing.

Basically the reason that i went on holiday on y own was because my Fiancee had gone on a holiday with a load of friends, and I needed inspiration for my Blog. There were a lot of women walking around in not much, but i managed to keep my eyes and hands to myself!

I did manage to keep my hands off, and just enjoyed the surroundings. I tried to go Windsurfing as much as possible. It was perfect conditions for Windsurfing, and i managed to have a few good days out on the waters. I also indulged in some Spa Treatments as well, mainly the massages. Now that was good stuff, recommended to anyone who stays in the Caribbean.

Antigua actually turned out to be one of the best holiday destinations that i have ever visited. It was a very accommodating atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly, my trip to the island was well received as well.

So basically I think that this trip has turned out better than I thought Maldives holidays would be like, I reaaly recommend Antigua holidays, and another place I found great was Egypt, Egypt holidays are truly stunning.

There is much debate about which drinks are the most popular in the world. Beer is by far the biggest selling alcoholic drink the world, no doubt about it, it’s not wine! So now that I have cleared up that the Beer is the king of all the alcoholic drinks, why don’t we all just sit down and look at what the popular drinks are in different countries, I have picked some randoms. So let’s start somewhere random then move onto some larger places:

Cuba is the place of cocktails. Well in Cuba you have to indulge in the Cuba Libre, a very special drink to this country. The Cuba Libre is a very simple drink, consisting of a Cuban Rum (any will do, obviously the better quality the better), Coke and a lovely slice of lime. People really do seem to like this simple and easy to prepare drink. Like the Cosmopolitan, the Mojito is also a great favourite for tourists.

Egypt, this is our next stop. This is much larger than Cuba, and gets a lot more tourists per Annum. Well for us, in Egypt the biggest selling beer is Stella. And for everyone reading this, no it’s not the traditional Stella Artois. This beer does have a decent 4.5%abv which is quite high for a gentle tasting beer. It is actually owned by Heineken and is brewed in a brewery called Alaham Beverages.

Now we have America, the biggest of the lot. is there one that you have in mind? Probably not what you would presume, but the fastest selling beer is a Budweiser beer, but not Bud. The Bud beer that is king, is actually Bud Light. This is the drink that you can guzzle down in copious amounts without feeling damming effects of drunkenness for quite a while. In the United States, Bud is the second biggest seller, but Bud Light is the main money spinner.

So are you looking for Egypt holidays, Cuba holidays or how about something a little more random like Maldives holidays, where you can build your own maybe more odd cocktail?
