What is so great about Sharm El Sheikh and why would you want to go on holiday here? Sharm El Shiekh has been a massive contender for the number 1 holiday spot, especially for luxury holidays, but why is it doing so well?

Here are some of the most important factors about Sharm El Sheikh that make it so attractive to tourists. The first is the diving aspect of this location. There is probably one spot in the world that most divers would agree is the best diving location on the planet, and that would be off the coast in Sharm. The first is that there are an unbelievable amount of Coral reefs in the immediate area, just off the coast in the Red Sea, somewhere actually in the region of about 250! These coral reefs are some of the easiest for divers to access in the world. The next big reason that divers believe this to be such a great place to go diving is that it is home to around 1000 different species of fish. This makes it a great place for people to view all kinds of different varieties of fish.

All of these diving goodies have brought another form of tourism to the coasts of Sharm El Sheikh; this is called “scientific tourism”. This form of holidaying is for those that like to take notes on new species or collate information on something they have a passion for. These holidays are very popular with travel agents, mainly because the length of someones stay greatly increases.

The weather helps to bring in Tourists to this place. Egypt is very warm and dry, making it a great place for sunning. If you don’t like the rain, then this is the place for you, even the rain is warm, what rain there is anyway. This destination can get very hot as well, perfect for those that love hot and sweaty weather.

Sharm El Sheikh holidays are great, they are even more popular than Caribbean holidays and Maldives holidays combined! St Lucia holidays and Barbados holidays will have to step up their game!

So we thought now we could give you some information that could help you book your holiday for next year. It’s time that we get ready to book those all important family holidays or holidays with the wife/husband. The Recession appears to be slowing down, and now we seem to be getting some extra cash, now this year a chance of us buying a holiday has really gone up.

When you think of locations many people think in regions, what you need to remember is that these places are specific countries, and can easily become top holiday locations. Hurghada, this may be a place you have heard of, but it has always had a problem competing with the likes of Sharm El Sheikh. These holidays are now becoming more targeted. Hurghada has only really recently been discovered as a potentially massive tourist opportunity, Sharm El Sheikh had always had dominance over other places in Egypt. Scuba Diving and free diving is a huge tourist attraction here, and the hotels are of the same luxurious quality as those in Sharm. There is so much to do including, boat rides with clear bottoms, to see the corals and even camel rides across the desert plains.

Well next here is Sri Lanka, and is one of the newer locations that tourists want to visit these days. This place has been torn by war and civil disagreements but has recently become a bustling area for tourists to visit. This is the place where the Garden of Eden was supposed to be, so many people come here to clear their minds. Checking the spa hotels out is a must, this is what Sri Lanka is the best for, the accommodation and the people are friendly and top quality.

The Caribbean is the next location, but a country in particular. Cuba could quite possibly become the most popular holiday to go on in the Caribbean. When you travel to Cuba, you do feel as though you have taken a step back in time, however the quality of hotels is no different to anywhere else in the world. These holidays have gone from strength to strength.

All you need to do is choose one of these vacations, Sri Lanka holidays, Cuba holidays or Hurghada holidays, what is your decision?

On my last holiday I travelled to Antigua. This really is a very nice place. Ok to be completely honest it wasn’t my first choice; in fact I really wanted to travel to the Maldives. I fancied going Whale Shark diving, but the hotels I wanted to stay at were all booked up so I decided on my second choice – Antigua.

I was very happy with what I found, Antigua was gorgeous. In fact the hotel I was staying in just topped it off for me. It was phenomenally amazing. I was staying in the Hermitage Bay Hotel, a five star boutique hotel. I needed to find out where my room was, and to my surprise my room was fantastic. I had some snorkelling planned and a bit of windsurfing.

Basically the reason that i went on holiday on y own was because my Fiancee had gone on a holiday with a load of friends, and I needed inspiration for my Blog. There were a lot of women walking around in not much, but i managed to keep my eyes and hands to myself!

I did manage to keep my hands off, and just enjoyed the surroundings. I tried to go Windsurfing as much as possible. It was perfect conditions for Windsurfing, and i managed to have a few good days out on the waters. I also indulged in some Spa Treatments as well, mainly the massages. Now that was good stuff, recommended to anyone who stays in the Caribbean.

Antigua actually turned out to be one of the best holiday destinations that i have ever visited. It was a very accommodating atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly, my trip to the island was well received as well.

So basically I think that this trip has turned out better than I thought Maldives holidays would be like, I reaaly recommend Antigua holidays, and another place I found great was Egypt, Egypt holidays are truly stunning.

There is much debate about which drinks are the most popular in the world. Beer is by far the biggest selling alcoholic drink the world, no doubt about it, it’s not wine! So now that I have cleared up that the Beer is the king of all the alcoholic drinks, why don’t we all just sit down and look at what the popular drinks are in different countries, I have picked some randoms. So let’s start somewhere random then move onto some larger places:

Cuba is the place of cocktails. Well in Cuba you have to indulge in the Cuba Libre, a very special drink to this country. The Cuba Libre is a very simple drink, consisting of a Cuban Rum (any will do, obviously the better quality the better), Coke and a lovely slice of lime. People really do seem to like this simple and easy to prepare drink. Like the Cosmopolitan, the Mojito is also a great favourite for tourists.

Egypt, this is our next stop. This is much larger than Cuba, and gets a lot more tourists per Annum. Well for us, in Egypt the biggest selling beer is Stella. And for everyone reading this, no it’s not the traditional Stella Artois. This beer does have a decent 4.5%abv which is quite high for a gentle tasting beer. It is actually owned by Heineken and is brewed in a brewery called Alaham Beverages.

Now we have America, the biggest of the lot. is there one that you have in mind? Probably not what you would presume, but the fastest selling beer is a Budweiser beer, but not Bud. The Bud beer that is king, is actually Bud Light. This is the drink that you can guzzle down in copious amounts without feeling damming effects of drunkenness for quite a while. In the United States, Bud is the second biggest seller, but Bud Light is the main money spinner.

So are you looking for Egypt holidays, Cuba holidays or how about something a little more random like Maldives holidays, where you can build your own maybe more odd cocktail?

I was all packed and ready to go on holiday with my fiancée when she came down with a really bad stomach ache, the day before we were going to leave. We both were looking forward to this holiday, and it was the only time that we could get off work. So there wasn’t anything for us to do, just sitting at home.

As we cancelled our holiday, a friend told us about the Virtual holidays. Now I had never heard of anything called a “Virtual holiday”, and was a bit dubious. If you can’t move about easily then this is great, the site takes you through all the cities you want. This means that those that are housebound can actually view a holiday through someone else eyes.

I was starting to think, what is this all about, I am not thinking about this at all. My first thoughts of this were that it was going to be like a trailer for a film, but made for holidays.

It was a lot more fun and informative than i first thought. We did pay for the one that we wanted, but some sites offer this for free. We were going to go to New York, so we paid for one of these virtual holidays. There were several locations and places for us to visit, it quite clearly showed us where we could go, and where we would be going. We went into this video expecting only a small tour of the city, and we got so much more out of it, exploring museums and seeing all the great sights.

The following commentary was very good and described a lot of what we wanted. This is going to be a very big piece of software.

We had fun trying this holiday, although it isnt the same as the actual thing, it is not that different, we would like to try the Egypt holidays or Maldives holidays one, where the trips are far too pricey for us to try, maybe Christmas holidays just got a lot less inexpensive?

America has always been the place of dreams, and when you look at what the country has to offer to us as tourists you can’t really “nay say” it. Let’s start with one of the most popular states in America, Florida. Florida is considered the fun state of America, there is everything a family, couple, singles could want here, ranging from Theme parks to nudist beaches.

There is so much for us to indulge in, when we take a trip to America, Florida may give us the Theme Parks, and many of them it does have, but what is there for the adult community, that don’t like fast or scary rides. Nevada, oh yes that’s the places for those of an older maturity. Now once you mention this state, people usually know what’s coming next, but if you haven’t caught on, then welcome to Las Vegas. Vegas is where adults are in their prime, the ability to almost everything and anything you want in what a lot of people refer to as Sin City. This is the Casino industry, the most powerful part of Vegas is gambling, and it is the main reason why many of us flood here in our millions.

How about the good old Fly Drive holidays, renting a car once you land in the West or East Coast of America and drive right the way through route 66. Route 66 may be known as the greatest driving holiday in the world but there are other routes that you can take on your travels through America. How about San Francisco in California, this is wine country and theatre country, so fill your boots with wine tasting and some brilliant live shows.

Las Vegas holidays are a fun time for all, although not recommended for the younger of people (under 21), but Christmas holidays are upon us, have you decided what your going to do?
